Unreliable sort. Seventeen runs since last win in 2021. Creditable second of 8 in handicap (9/1) at Sligo (10.6f, good) 40 days ago, left with lot to do. Will have a chance if able to build on that.
Bit below form eighth of 15 in handicap at Roscommon (7.7f, good to soft, 6/1) 42 days ago, slowly away. Up in trip on debut for new yard and he's now 2 lb lower than for his near miss at Listowel in September.
Winner at Killarney in May. 6/1, creditable second of 16 in handicap at Gowran (9.4f, good to soft) 21 days ago, clear of rest. Solid each-way chance.
Bit below form fourth of 8 in handicap (20/1) at Leopardstown (7.2f, good to soft) 11 days ago. Significantly back up in trip and, having slipped to an attractive mark, he's dangerous to discount.
40/1, last of 12 in handicap at Cork (8f, good) 45 days ago. Back up in trip and likely to struggle once more.
Temperamental sort. 20/1, fifth of 8 in handicap at Roscommon (10.3f, good) 35 days ago. Others make more appeal for win purposes.
Temperamental sort. Respectable sixth of 12 in handicap (9/1) at Leopardstown (8f, good to firm) 4 days ago. Back up in trip and others are more persuasive.
Three wins from 7 runs this year. Improved on recent efforts to win 15-runner handicap at Roscommon (7.4f, good, 16/1) 35 days ago, cosily. Significantly back up in trip and more needed up 8 lb.
11/1, ninth of 10 in handicap at Down Royal (10.3f, good) 2 days ago. Yard having good spell but he's likely to find one or two too good all the same.
8/1, below form sixth of 11 in claimer at Limerick (11.5f, good to firm) 12 days ago. First run for yard after leaving Denis Hogan and he's opposable.

Forecasts
See Me Through (9/4), Spy (4/1), Brave Troop (5/1), Laelaps (15/2), Jawhary (17/2), River Derwent (12/1), True Statesman (12/1), Pillar Of Hope (18/1), Roderick (28/1), La Tulipe Noire (50/1)
BRAVE TROOP left the strong impression that this step back up in trip would serve him well when finishing mid-field at Roscommon where he got going too late. The 5-y-o gets the nod ahead of See Me Through, who has been in good heart of late and is feared with Colin Keane in the hot-seat. Pillar of Hope has slipped to a potentially handy mark and is worth considering, while Laelaps is also accorded respect.
