Gained reward for several good efforts in defeat when landing Southwell handicap hurdle (3m) last autumn. Runner-up on next 2 starts but has lost his form since, pulling up on Hexham chase debut 19 days ago.

Improved efforts over hurdles since handicapping, finishing second of 6 at Fakenham (2½m, good to soft) in a first-time tongue tie in March. Leading claims now stepping up to 3m back from a short break.

Winless since last spring but has reacted well to a visor when second in course hurdle/chase on last 2 outings. Each-way claims again.

Hurdles winner who was third over fences at Hexham last month but pulled up back there 17 days later. Reverts to hurdles in a bid to bounce straight back to form.

All 3 career victories gained at Sedgefield, the latest in February 2023. Pulled up both starts last season but merely passed beaten rivals when seventh of 16 over 21f at Kelso last month.

Placed 5 times since his last win but ran poorly back from a break here (fences) last month. Can only watch after that.

Placed in points in Ireland. Reached the frame in his first 2 handicap hurdles but his 2 efforts at Hexham this spring have been disappointing. Bounce back needed.

It's been a while since he last hit the target but he couldn't have gone much closer at Hexham (3m, good to soft) 19 days ago, edged out on the line. Can race lazily but he'll figure prominently if in the same form as last time.
