Shaped like he was ahead of his mark when runner-up here on penultimate outing and is best excused his latest effort (made a significant error) at Huntingdon since. Not the easiest to rely on but worth chancing down in grade.
Fair handicap chaser at best but has been out of sorts all season and others are more persuasive for all that he's becoming well treated.
Losing run stretches back to January 2021 and found one too good again over C&D last time. One to consider for all that he's clearly not the easiest to win with.
Fairly useful chaser at best for Henry de Bromhead and belatedly proved some ability remains when fourth of 8 in handicap chase at Catterick on penultimate outing. Didn't really back it up at Huntingdon next time, though.
Uninspiring record over hurdles but at least dropping in the weights, so worthy of a market check trying chasing for the first time after 6 months off.
12/1, respectable third of 12 in handicap chase at Southwell 9 months ago. On a fair mark and arrives on the back of some solid efforts in points, so not discounted.
Unreliable individual. Latest win in chase at Hereford in March. Creditable second of 7 in handicap chase (3/1) at Hereford (20.9f, soft) 10 days ago, outbattled. Hard to know how long he will hold it together for.
Four-time winner between the flags but he's 0-19 under Rules. Step back in right direction over C&D last time and this isn't a strong race.
Irish point winner who has made a low-key start in bumpers/over hurdles, albeit there was more encouragement when fourth at Wincanton 43 days ago. Could do better making relatively early switch to chasing.
Little to shout about in a bumper/over hurdles and is hard to make a case for switched to chasing for the first time.
Long-standing maiden who was pulled up over C&D when last seen a couple of months ago, so arrives with something to prove.

Forecasts
Guivinec (11/4), Flamelco (4/1), Jack Doyen (5/1), Concrete King (13/2), Elzaaro (9/1), Millies Mite (10/1), Mister Murchan (12/1), Touch Tight (18/1), Master Malcolm (20/1), La Breille (25/1), Kalkas (33/1)
Hard to be confident about any of these but FLAMELCO has shaped as if ahead of his mark this season and is likely to bounce back from a lesser effort, so he's preferred to in-form pair Mister Murchan and Jack Doyen, neither of whom excel in a tight finish.
