Three wins from 8 runs last year. Bit below form seventh of 12 in handicap at Southwell (7.1f, 22/1) 31 days ago, slowly away. Should strip fitter with that under his belt. Usual hood left off.
Lightly-raced maiden. Seventh of 10 in handicap (9/1) at Newcastle (8f) 33 days ago, weakening final 1f having possibly found the race coming too soon. Cheekpieces go on now and it's too soon to be writing him off.
Rewarded for string of consistent efforts when back on the scoreboard at Kempton (7f) in September. Returned with a good third over 6f here in February but hasn't scaled same heights in trio of starts since, seventh of 9 in handicap (11/1) at Kempton (7f) 7 days ago.
Represents a yard in rude health and, equipped with first-time blinkers (retained here) finished good second of 11 in handicap at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 11 days ago. Expected to be bang there.
Refound consistency for fitting of a visor, winning at Newcastle in December and followed up here (10f) in January on final start for Richard Fahey. Not in same form in couple of starts for new yard and the headgear again left off.
Bright start for new yard, looking as good as ever when landing C&D handicap in January prior to a good second at Southwell (7f) later that month, possibly overdoing forcing tactics. Needs considering back from a break.
Resurgent upon joining present yard last summer, gaining third success from first 4 starts at Chelmsford (7f) in November. Found run of good form coming to a halt over C&D in December but no surprise to see him bounce back following 4 months off.
Course winner. First run since leaving Brett Johnson when creditable second of 13 in handicap (15/8) at Kempton (8f) 9 days ago, still plenty to do 2f out and running on. Effective at this shorter trip and he's one to bear in mind.
C&D winner. Three wins from 12 runs last year. Respectable fifth of 11 in handicap (11/2) at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 11 days ago, left poorly placed. Tongue strap back on.
Course winner. Latest win at Kempton in December. 25/1, creditable eighth of 13 in handicap at this C&D (AW) 12 days ago, never nearer. Entitled to strip fitter given that was her first start for 4 months and each-way claims.

Forecasts
Dembe (7/2), Sandy Paradise (4/1), King Cabo (9/2), Counsel (9/2), Legal Reform (15/2), Thapa VC (9/1), Torchlight (16/1), Granary Queen (25/1), Musical Mystery (28/1), Blue Yonder (50/1)
DEMBE is undoubtedly lurking on a handy mark and not for the first time this year caught the eye when runner-up at Kempton (1m) for his new yard 9 days ago. He'll likely need the breaks dropping back 1f but could just be worth chancing in a race where they could well go a decent clip. Thapa Vc, Sandy Paradise and Counsel are others worthy of a second look in a competitive race.
