Twice-raced gelding. Fifth of 12 in maiden (150/1) at this C&D 12 days ago. Probably more one for handicaps in the near future.
Once-raced gelding. 14/1, second of 9 in maiden at this course (8.1f) on debut 31 days ago. That was a fairly encouraging start to his career and he should have a part to play if able to build on it.
35,000 gns yearling, Territories colt. Dam, 2-y-o 7f winner, half-sister to smart 2-y-o 6f winner Huntdown out of useful winner up to 1m (2-y-o 6f winner) Infinite Spirit. One to note in the betting.
30,000 gns yearling, Wootton Bassett colt. Half-brother to useful winner up to 6.5f Drole de Dame. It will be interesting to see what the market has to say, for all that his yard's newcomers usually come on for a run.
Thrice-raced gelding. 250/1, tenth of 12 in minor event at Kempton (7f), not ideally placed. Off 6 months ahead of this debut for new yard.
Twice-raced gelding. 6/1, ninth of 10 in maiden at Chelmsford City (6f). Off 145 days and he will need to take a big step forward in order to open his account here.
€12,000 yearling, James Garfield colt. Half-brother to 3 winners, including 1m-1¼m winner Irv and 1m/8.6f winner Mr Fustic. Entitled to come on for the run.
Once-raced filly. 13/2, fifth of 8 in maiden at Newcastle (7.1f) on debut 18 days ago. Should progress and she's one to consider.
Twice-raced filly. 9/4, second of 12 in maiden at Wolverhampton (6.1f) when last seen in November. This step back up in trip will be no bad thing and she should be in the mix.
Lightly-raced filly. 7/1, respectable second of 8 in minor event at Chelmsford City (7f) on final start of 2-y-o campaign. Her form looks solid in the context of this race and she's the one to beat.

Forecasts
Zariela (6/4), Kindest Nation (9/2), God Bless America (5/1), Cerulean Summer (11/2), Moon Aspect (12/1), Raagi (14/1), Bletchley Pride (20/1), Jimmy Knocker (25/1), Kandy King (28/1), Gamblers Kitty (33/1), Daylight Ransom (66/1)
This represents a good opportunity for ZARIELA to deservedly shed her maiden tag having performed with credit on each of her five starts last season. Kindest Nation will be more street-wise following her debut spin at Newcastle and she is next on the list, albeit only marginally as Cerulean Summer also holds solid claims. God Bless America is not without an each-way chance and Raagi could be the pick of the newcomers.
