Course winner. Creditable sixth of 10 in handicap at this C&D (7/1) 19 days ago. Now 2 lb below last winning mark and this is easier than last time, so he's not discounted.
9/2, won 12-runner handicap at this C&D 12 days ago, getting first run. Has to be taken seriously. 3 lb rise looks about right and it's not hard to envisage him playing a leading role once more.
Winner at Kempton in October. Second of 8 in minor event (8/13) at Southwell (7.1f) 34 days ago. Likely he will have more to offer now venturing down the handicap route.
9/1, creditable 2 lengths third of 12 to The Turpinator in handicap at this C&D 12 days ago, left poorly placed. 3 lb better off with that rival now and shouldn't be far away.
Two wins from 5 runs this year. Career best when winning 12-runner handicap (18/1) at this C&D 20 days ago. 2 lb rise fair and should give another good account.
C&D winner. 5½ lengths ninth of 12 to The Turpinator in handicap at this C&D (17/2) 12 days ago. Looks vulnerable.
C&D winner in October. 18/1, eighth of 12 in handicap at Wolverhampton (6.1f) 12 days ago. Others more persuasive on balance.
C&D winner. 3 wins from 15 runs this year. Latest win here in November. Eighth of 12 in handicap at this C&D (4/1) 20 days ago. Likely to find a few too good.
Course winner. 3 wins from 13 runs this year. Latest win at Catterick in August. 15 lengths last of 12 to The Turpinator in handicap (20/1) at this C&D 12 days ago. Clearly has work to do.
Course winner. Creditable 4¾ lengths sixth of 12 to The Turpinator in handicap at this C&D (40/1) 12 days ago, left poorly placed. Not easy to make a case for.

Forecasts
Al Farabi (13/8), Jahidin (4/1), The Turpinator (5/1), Swiss Ace (13/2), Scottish Summit (17/2), Illusionist (10/1), Sir Maxi (20/1), Gobi Sunset (28/1), Alexander James (28/1), One More Dream (100/1)
THE TURPINATOR bounced back from a lesser show over 6f here when striking over C&D recently and, if in a similar mood, he may well follow up off this 3 lb higher mark. Al Farabi has to be feared, as an unexposed 3-y-o from a top yard and making his handicap debut off what looks a fair mark. Roger Varian's charge is next on the list ahead of Jahidin and Illusionist, who was third to the selection here 12 days ago. The 10-y-o Scottish Summit also needs a second look in a competitive heat.
