More one for handicaps judged on his 2 efforts in maiden/novice company, latterly after a 7-month break and change of stable.
Runner-up sole start in Irish points and made an encouraging start to his Rules career when third in a Wetherby bumper for Michael Scudamore in March. Signs of inexperience when 12 lengths third of 15 on his Catterick hurdle debut for new yard last month and likely to step up on that form now.
Promise when placed on all 3 starts in bumpers, going down by only a head on Kelso reappearance 37 days ago. Should be up to making his presence felt in a race like this now hurdling.
Placed twice in Irish points but pulled up last time (Oct 22). Valleyview Tommy is likely the yard's first string unless the betting hints otherwise.
Half-brother to useful hurdler Ratfacemcdougall. Runner-up completed start in Irish points and made a bright start over hurdles when 5 lengths third of 10 in a Kelso maiden in October. Open to improvement.
Better effort in novice hurdles last month when fourth of 11 at Kelso but she was beaten a long way and is more one for handicaps after this.
£80,000 buy after easily winning her sole Irish point. 9/2, dropped away from the home turn when well beaten on her Kelso hurdle debut 19 days ago but she might strip fitter for the outing.
Well held in bumpers in recent months and a likely outsider now hurdling.

Forecasts
Got Your Back (8/11), Heart Above (3/1), Valleyview Tommy (7/2), Jet Patrol (10/1), Fiveafterfour (25/1), Bridgetjoans (50/1), Better Be Definite (80/1), Western Glen (200/1)
VALLEYVIEW TOMMY made an encouraging start to his hurdle career at Kelso and can build on that promise now. Got Your Back is open to progress on the back of his Catterick hurdle debut third and is second choice ahead of Heart Above, who showed enough in bumpers to think he can make his mark over hurdles.
