Verbier⁵⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 9-7| J: Rossa Ryan| T: R M Beckett| BF

10/3

Looked potentially useful when making a winning start at Wolverhampton (9.5f) in March and seemed unsuited by testing ground when a well-held third at Redcar 7 months later. Remains with potential.

Form: 13

105,000 gns yearling, Dark Angel colt. Brother to several winners, including 2-y-o 7f winner Juliet Capulet and 6f winner Strike Red, both useful. Dam 6f winner. Isn't bred for this far but needs a market check all the same.

Forecasts

Mahboob (6/5), Nature Watch (16/5), Verbier (10/3), Eleanor Cross (6/1), Orange N Blue (22/1), Lookingdandy (33/1), Birthday Angel (40/1), Hiccups (250/1)

NATURE WATCH shaped with plenty of promise when second on his recent debut and has to be considered the one to beat with improvement on the cards, though strong market support for newcomer Mahboob, who makes plenty of appeal on paper, would put a slightly different slant on matters. Verbier retains potential having failed to handle testing ground at Redcar in October and needs considering, also.
