Made a pleasing start for this yard (formerly with Alice Haynes) when good third of 11 in handicap at Lingfield (6f, AW) 22 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time. Wide draw not ideal but he's hard to discount.

Very good third of 11 in handicap at Newcastle (6f) 54 days ago. First run for yard after leaving Mark Walford. Drawn wider than ideal but should give another good account if continuing in same form for new yard.

Forecasts

Wee Fat Mac (3/1), Ben Dikduk (7/2), Katar (4/1), Catesby (4/1), Autumn Angel (17/2), Noble Captain (9/1), Aclaim To Fame (18/1), Wedgewood (18/1), Merry Secret (25/1), Marinakis (40/1), Boom Boom Pow (80/1), Heartlander (200/1)

Verdict

Not a deep contest even for the lowly level, with WEE FAT MAC fancied to build on an eye-catching return to all-weather when a fast-finishing fourth here last month. Ben Dikduk and Aclaim To Fame are also leading players despite high draws, whilst long-standing maiden Katar has been largely running well in defeat of late and is another that shouldn't be dismissed.
