Very lightly raced for his age and, while he was pulled up when last seen, he goes well fresh and returns from 7 months off with his stable going well. One to consider.
Fairly useful winner over hurdles and ran to a similar level switched to chasing last season, scoring over C&D in March. Lacklustre return at Carlisle a month ago but might come on for it.
Well treated and looked as good as ever when fourth at this course a fortnight ago. Step back up in trip looks in his favour, so he's likely to make an impact.
Overcame mistakes to get off at the fourth attempt over fences at Ayr (21.5f) in February and bounced back from a fall to run out a dominant winner at Perth in April. Respectable return at Carlisle last month and should be spot on now.
Left his chase debut/reappearance effort well behind when leading near the finish at Ffos Las (heavy) in January. However, endured a hard race and he took little interest subsequently. 7-month break should have helped.
Dual hurdles winner who shaped as if in need of the experience when fifth in a handicap at Kelso on chasing debut. Stable is going well and he should know more now, so worth chancing.
Three-time C&D winner who was pulled up when last seen at Market Rasen 11 months ago. Always deserves respect at this track but hard to know if he'll be fully tuned up.
Hurdles winner in France in summer 2021. No impact over hurdles for this yard but more encouragement in two chasing outings in the spring. Might need this return from 7 months off.
Resumed winning ways at Hexham in May but highlighted his unreliability both starts since, and others make more appeal.

Forecasts
Readysteadybeau (9/4), Ladronne (7/2), Horacio Apple's (7/2), Southern Sam (15/2), East Street (9/1), Le Grand Vert (11/1), Best Trition (20/1), Ballynagran (22/1), Sigurd (50/1)
HORACIO APPLE'S should have benefited from his initial experience of chasing at Kelso 3 weeks ago and, with improvement expected, he can add to his stable's excellent recent spell. Readysteadybeau is a danger and Southern Sam is likely to be back on his game on reappearance.
