Completed quick-fire hat-trick when successful in Kempton novice (1m) in September and shaped well when third on nursery debut at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) 15 days ago, caught wider than ideal. Merits consideration.
Has made a bright start to his career, confirming the promise of his first 2 starts when making all in 7-runner minor event at this course (6f, good) last month, in command final 1f. Leading contender with better still to come.
Promising second on debut at Hamilton before going one better at Musselburgh (7f, good to firm) next time. Again showed a good attitude when following up in nursery at Haydock (7f, heavy) 13 days ago and he could still have more to offer.
Has yet to finish out of the first 3 places, opening account with something to spare in Brighton maiden last month. Upped in trip, improved when making all in 7-runner nursery at Ripon (1m, good) 13 days ago and he could make another bold bid.
Very effective with give underfoot, recording a third success in nursery at Haydock (7f, heavy) in August. Fared the better of the pair who raced away from the main pack when fourth at Doncaster last time, so he enters calculations.
Not entirely straightforward but possesses plenty of ability, comfortably landing nursery at Sandown (7f, good to soft) on his penultimate start. Ran at least as well when third at Doncaster 12 days later, though was again slowly away. Cheekpieces applied.
Built on the encouragement of his first 2 starts when off the mark in minor event at Thirsk (7f, good to soft) in August, proving game. Raced keenly when sixth on nursery debut at Ayr (1m, good) 20 days ago, so could fare better back down in trip.
Finished narrowly behind the reopposing Sailthisshipalone on his first 2 starts, beaten a head when second in minor event at Thirsk in August. Did too much too soon at Carlisle (7.8f, good to firm) last time, but more needed back down in trip.
Looked a useful prospect when making a winning start in 8-runner maiden at Newcastle (7.1f) 17 days ago, leading under 2f out and soon quickening clear. Upped in grade but could be capable of making his presence felt.
Showed plenty to work on at Kempton on his first start and landed 7-runner maiden at Yarmouth (1m, soft) in good style 22 days later, asserting for just hands-and-heels riding. Open to further improvement representing last year's winning trainer.
Scored on debut at Hamilton and shaped nicely when runner-up on his next 2 outings, finishing strongly in big-field sales race at Naas (6f, soft) in August. Well held in nursery at this course last time, but could bounce back upped in trip.
Encouragement on his debut at Salisbury and, upped in trip, progressed from that first experience when winning 11-runner minor event at Leicester (7f, good to firm) 51 days ago, well on top at the finish. Will go on improving.
Still green when successful at Yarmouth on his second run and, after a below-par effort, soon back on track when seventh of 20 in nursery at this C&D (good to firm) in August. Finished well for fourth at Thirsk (1m, good to soft) last month, but this is tougher.
Has shown promise both starts, edged out on the line by subsequent Acomb-third Loose Cannon in minor event at this C&D on debut. Ran to similar level when third at Thirsk (7f, soft) 8 weeks later and he remains capable of better.
Ran well when second in minor events at Newmarket and Nottingham first 2 starts and back on the up when eighth of 17 in sales race at Doncaster (6.5f, good to soft) last month, looking ready for 7f. Can give another good account.
Made the frame in minor events/maiden in his first 4 races, still showing signs of greenness when fourth at Epsom (7f, good) in August on the latest occasion. However, below form at Bath (1m, soft) 11 days ago and he looks to be up against it.

THE COFFEE POD continued his progress when making all at this course last month and, with further progress to come upped in trip, he can land this valuable prize. Heading the list of dangers is African Spirit, who looked potentially useful when winning at Newcastle on debut, while Lambert and Candonomore are two others to also take into account.
