Highly promising Night Of Thunder colt. Very green when fourth of 8 in minor event (11/8) at Yarmouth (6f, good to soft) on debut 15 days ago, missing break. Should do much better with that run under his belt. Interesting.

Forecasts

Blue Day (5/2), Warsong (11/4), Giorgio M (11/2), Durham Castle (7/1), Let's Get Em (15/2), The Line (8/1), Jarraaf (22/1), Moswaat (28/1), Crafty Spirit (33/1), Port Hedland (125/1), Rothay Park (125/1), Ginormous (200/1)

Verdict

WARSONG failed to live up to market expectations when fourth at Yarmouth on his debut but looked very green there and should have learned plenty. He can take a big step forward now and win a very open-looking novice. Giorgio M could emerge as the chief threat if, as expected, building on his encouraging debut Wolverhampton fourth, although there are clutch of newcomers with the potential to have a say too, including Moswaat, Jarraaf and Crafty Spirit.
