Gambie Tiep²³

Age: 7| Weight: 12-0| J: Beau Morgan⁽⁵⁾| T: B Pauling| OR: 94

7/4

Back to best since joining new connections this summer, gaining his third win of the year in emphatic fashion at Fontwell earlier this month. Up another 6 lb but clearly remains on an upward trajectory and should take all the beating again.

Imperial Alex¹⁸⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-12| J: Stan Sheppard| T: T Lacey| OR: 92| BF

11/4

Took a sizable step forward when landing a Warwick handicap hurdle (21f, good to soft) in February and ran respectably enough in defeat when second at Carlisle on his next start. Placed in points, so is respected making chase debut after summer break,

Tamaris^t1⁵⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-12| J: Brendan Powell| T: J Tizzard| OR: 92WS

13/2

Modest hurdler didn't appeal as an obvious type to make a better chaser (Flat bred) but wasn't completely disgraced on his chase bow when fifth at Lingfield in February. Entitled to be sharper for his recent return but others still make greater appeal with tongue strap on for 1st time.

Form: 52/435-6

Honneur De Sivola¹²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-11| J: B Roberts⁽⁵⁾| T: C Hobson| OR: 91

9/1

Made an encouraging start to his chasing career, filling runners-up spot at Huntingdon/Market Rasen earlier this term. Last 2 efforts have been underwhelming, though, beaten quite far out when pulled up at Worcester 12 days ago. Needs to bounce back.

Form: 46-225P

King Of The Story^t³¹

Age: 7| Weight: 10-13| J: Sean Houlihan| T: P Gundry| OR: 79

10/3

Joined current yard in the summer and left his previous efforts well behind to cause an upset from 6 lb out of the weights at FFontwell (21.6f, good) 31 days ago, easily. Possible there could be even more to come.

Form: 66/49-P1

Forecasts

Gambie Tiep (7/4), Imperial Alex (11/4), King Of The Story (10/3), Tamaris (13/2), Honneur De Sivola (9/1)

GAMBIE TIEP has taken off since joining the Ben Pauling yard and he's fancied to notch his fourth win of the season. Fellow recent stable-switcher King of The Story looked a different proposition when winning at Fontwell last time and he can pose the biggest threat, whilst former pointer Imperial Alex could improve now going over fences.
