Foaled February 28. €575,000 yearling, Lope De Vega colt. Dam unraced sister to very smart winner up to 10.5f Golden Lilac out of very smart 1m-1¼m winner Grey Lilas. Yard had a couple of winning 2-y-os at Yarmouth on Wednesday and he ticks plenty of boxes.
Foaled February 11. £52,000 yearling, Profitable colt. Half-brother to 11f winner Liberty of Devil. Dam, 9f winner, half-sister to US Grade 2 1m winner (2-y-o 6f winner in Britain) Missit. Market check advised.
Showed ability amidst greenness when fifth of 14 in minor event (80/1) at this C&D on debut 2 weeks ago, considerately handled. May well do better.
Hooded and showed clear signs of ability when tenth of 16 in minor event (25/1) at Chelmsford City (7f) on debut just over 3 weeks ago. Open to improvement.
13/2, had clearly learnt plenty from debut and left that form well behind despite being easy to back when second of 11 in minor event at this C&D 44 days ago. In top hands and open to further progress.
20/1 and blinkered, looked badly in need of the experience when tenth of 12 in minor event at Newbury (6f, good) on debut 62 days ago. Gelded since and better showing anticipated.
14/1, green when seventh of 13 in maiden at Newbury (7f, good) on debut 34 days ago. Should do better somewhere down the line.
Went backwards from debut when seventh of 11 in minor event (4/1) at Leicester (7f, soft) 10 days ago. Makes all-weather debut.
8/1, showed promise once he got the hang of things when fourth of 9 in minor event at Ascot (7f, firm) on debut 13 days ago, not knocked about. Should progress.
Well held in pair of minor events so impossible to fancy.
Foaled April 30. Adaay colt. Dam 7f winner. Market will guide expectations.
Shaped better than first time up when sixth of 14 in maiden at this C&D (50/1) 9 days ago. Clearly still learning and looks one for handicaps after this.
250/1, did little better than first time out when fifteenth of 16 in maiden at Newbury (6f, good to firm) 24 days ago. Makes all-weather debut.

Forecasts
Military Artist (13/8), Age Of Baroque (9/4), Fox Legacy (5/1), Eulace Peacock (5/1), Liveandletlive (11/1), Christian David (33/1), City Of Delight (33/1), Desert Rhapsody (50/1), Flag Carrier (125/1), Orbital (150/1), Pop Noodle (150/1), Tres Chic (250/1), Pagan King (300/1)
A few in with a squeak but €575,000 yearling AGE OF BAROQUE ticks plenty of boxes and, representing powerful connections, Charlie Appleby's colt is fancied to make a winning debut at the expense of Eulace Peacock, who ran a cracker when runner-up over C&D last month but has the widest stall to contend with this time. Military Artist and City of Delight are a couple of once-raced colts who should take a step forward.
