Veteran who resumed winning ways in style in 5f handicap at Ripon (heavy) in April. Creditable third of 8 at Chester (6f, good) since.
Twelve runs since last win in 2021. Placed twice at Newmarket in the spring but needs to shrug off a couple of lesser runs since.
Course winner but down the field all 4 starts this season. Needs a recent wind operation and the fitting of a tongue tie to have a positive effect.
Won 7 times over 7f/1m last season. Bit mixed this time round but latest second at Musselburgh (7f) was a step back in the right direction. Tries his luck over a sprint trip now for only the second time in his career.
Thrived with 7f wins at Chester and Haydock in recent weeks. Back up in the weights as a result but he has won over 6f before and has to enter the reckoning in his current mood.
Has yet to fire this year, well held at Ayr on Monday. Is starting to look well handicapped but has too much to prove.
Now 2 lb lower than when successful at York last year and he ran his most encouraging race since his reappearance when fourth of 16 at Ayr (6f, good) on Monday. Claims if he can build on that.
Won over 6f at Ripon in April and Thirsk in May. Good third back at Ripon last month but not at his best twice since.
Winless during his 3-y-o campaign. Shaped quite encouragingly on his Newmarket reappearance in May but hasn't built on it since, finishing 6 lengths behind the reopposing Khunan when fourth at Haydock last time. Blinkers refitted. Mark continues to fall but need to see more.
Seventeen runs since last win in 2021 but he did shape as if he might be able to put that right soon when second of 10 in at Haydock (6f, good to firm) 15 days ago, pulling clear of the rest. Respected.
Notched a third success of the campaign at Beverley (5f) last month. Creditable third at Ripon (6f) and Newmarket (5f) since but they suggest the handicapper may have him about right for now.
Pair of 5f Musselburgh wins in recent weeks. Couldn't land the hat-trick but showed she's at least as good over 6f when running on for third in a competitive race at Ayr on Monday. Big player.
Latest win at Carlisle in May. Ran well for second over C&D earlier this month but he found his run of good form coming to a halt when behind some of these at Ayr on Monday.

Forecasts
Khunan (4/1), Rock Melody (5/1), Illusionist (5/1), Paws For Thought (11/2), Another Baar (10/1), Fools Rush In (11/1), Chairmanoftheboard (12/1), Ramon Di Loria (12/1), Hyperfocus (16/1), Gis A Sub (16/1), Bay Breeze (18/1), Autumn Festival (20/1), Jump The Gun (50/1)
The way ROCK MELODY finished off for third in a big field at Ayr on Monday suggests she still has some mileage in her mark and she can resume winning ways. Khunan took a big step back in the right direction at Haydock recently and is second choice ahead of the thriving Paws For Thought and Illusionist, who was close up in fourth in behind the selection at Ayr on Monday.
