Pak Army^b,t¹³

Age: 8| Weight: 11-12| J: Bradley Harris⁽⁵⁾| T: B Barr| OR: 109

10/3

Different proposition for this yard since blinkers and tongue tie have been reapplied, completing a four-timer from the front (second leg on Flat) when seeing off 6 rivals at Stratford 13 days ago. Obvious claims.

Form: 5P71-11

Fanfaron Dino^t¹⁹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-10| J: R P McLernon| T: A J Honeyball| OR: 107| CD

5/2

Career best when winning 8-runner handicap hurdle (9/2) at this C&D (good to firm) 19 days ago by neck from Tara Iti, keeping on well. Solid profile on this sort of ground and should go well again.

Form: 51/24-31

Cornicello^b1²⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-9| J: G Sheehan| T: Jamie Snowden| OR: 106

12/1

Fair Flat performer in Germany and easily gained second hurdles win at Wincanton in November. Needs to bounce back from a couple of tame efforts.

Form: 1217P-4

Glimpse Of Gold^t¹²

Age: 12| Weight: 11-9| J: Dylan Kitts⁽⁷⁾| T: Mrs S J Humphrey| OR: 106

11/1

Veteran who recorded hat-trick in small fields last summer but not scored since and makes limited appeal despite his tumbling mark.

Form: FP57-54

Phoenix Risen^p³⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: David Prichard⁽⁵⁾| T: J Scott| OR: 103| BF

5/1

Has got his act together since the cheekpieces went on, scoring twice at Taunton in April. Good second at Newton Abbot since and every reason to think he'll give another good account.

Form: 0P311-2

Tara Iti¹⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: J E Moore| T: G & J Moore| OR: 99| BF| CD

10/3

C&D winner. Latest win in hurdle here in April. Creditable neck second of 8 to Fanfaron Dino in handicap hurdle (7/4) here last time. Likely to be on the premises again.

Form: 6351-32

Man Of The Sea^p,t³³

Age: 7| Weight: 11-2| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: N P Mulholland| OR: 99

16/1

Fairly useful Flat winner who also scored over hurdles in Jersey in July and landed a 2m Stratford handicap on his return to Britain in October. Below form both subsequent starts, though.

Form: 1/1215-9

Forecasts

Fanfaron Dino (5/2), Tara Iti (10/3), Pak Army (10/3), Phoenix Risen (5/1), Glimpse Of Gold (11/1), Cornicello (12/1), Man Of The Sea (16/1)

FANFARON DINO is progressive when faced with firmish ground and he's fancied to follow up his C&D win 19 days ago. Tara Iti was runner-up that day and should make his presence felt again, while Pak Army is worthy of respect as he bids to land a cross-code five-timer.
