Showed plenty of ability in 4 starts on the AW prior to bolting up on turf debut in a big-field Newmarket handicap (7f, good) last week. 5 lb 'well-in' under a penalty here and she will take plenty of stopping.
Shaped well when runner-up on debut for Kevin Philippart De Foy at Yarmouth last summer but seemingly gone the wrong way since, making little impact on handicap debut at Wolverhampton (8.6f) latest. Now tried in cheekpieces.
Failed to trouble the judge in 3 starts over 6f as a juvenile. Entirely possible that he'll be seen in a better light now upped in trip for this handicap debut but a big slice of improvement is certainly needed.
Improved when landing an AW nursery on final 2-y-o start and has acquitted himself well both starts in blinkers this season, latterly finishing fourth of 12 back on turf at Beverley (7.4f, good to soft). Goes without headgear this time.
Left previous form behind when landing a 1m Thirsk nursery last term and reappearance fourth upped to 1¼m at Beverley was a decent effort. However, backward step over 11.6f here recently and couldn't be sure that this drop back in trip will be the answer. Blinkers applied.
Encouraging signs when sixth in a Redcar novice on second of his 3 starts for Declan Carroll in 2022 but there were limited positives to glean from his reappearance/handicap debut at Beverley for new yard last month.
Runner-up in 1m Redcar novice on second and final start of 2-y-o campaign but too free both starts this time round, including tried in a hood (discarded here) on recent handicap debut at Hamilton (8.3f, good).
Wasn't beaten far starting out in a 7f Wolverhampton maiden last month, leaving the impression that she would improve for the experience. No real progress in 2 subsequent starts but in good hands and may do better now pitched into a handicap.
Didn't show much in handful of runs for Hugo Palmer at 2 yrs and sizeable step forward needed now moving into a handicap for his new yard. Gelded during the winter.

Forecasts
Aurora Dawn (8/15), Pearl Eye (9/2), Masterpainter (10/1), Vegas Jack (14/1), Whatacracker (14/1), Mahboobah (14/1), Pearly Star (22/1), Senseofentitlement (50/1), Fools Gambit (80/1)
It's very difficult to look beyond AURORA DAWN, who did the job in good style on her recent turf debut at Newmarket and she's a step ahead of the handicapper under a 6 lb penalty. Perhaps Pearly Star will improve on what she has shown in maiden/novice company now handicapping and Hugo Palmer's charge gets the nod ahead of Pearl Eye for forecast purposes.
