Three wins from 9 runs last year. 3/1, career best when winning 5-runner handicap at Lingfield (15.8f, AW) 55 days ago, quickening to lead last ½f and keeping on having been well positioned. Should give another good account.

Latest win at Wolverhampton in March. Fourth of 6 in handicap back at that venue (12.2f) 8 days ago, not seen to best effect off a steady gallop. Remains relatively low-mileage at this sort of trip so not out of things.

Latest win at Wolverhampton in March. Respectable third of 9 in handicap (evens) at Newcastle (16.2f) 27 days ago. Has to be taken seriously.

Prolific on the level last year, bagging fifth win from 7 starts at Pontefract (17f) in September. Disappointed final start at Newcastle (16.2f) in October however, and again ran poorly on return over hurdles at Southwell last month.

Badly out of sorts over hurdles in recent months but bounced back to form returned to the level when landing 6-runner handicap over 14f here 12 days ago. 3 lb higher mark to contend with but certainly not ruled out kept to this sphere.

14/1, career best when winning 8-runner handicap at Lingfield (15.8f, AW) 43 days ago, just holding on. Still unexposed as a stayer so she merits consideration from only 2 lb higher.

Forecasts

Rock Chant (1/1), Cedar Cage (4/1), What Will Be (9/2), Huscari (17/2), Smith (9/1), Infiniti (40/1)

Verdict

ROCK CHANT has got back on track in line with longer trips/being fitted with cheekpieces on AW, landing back-to-back events at around 2m before a sound third at Newcastle 4 weeks ago. He looks sure to go well again and earns the vote, with recent course winner What Will Be and Cedar Cage just 2 potential threats.

  1. Rock Chant1/1
  2. What Will Be9/2
  3. Cedar Cage4/1
