NEWFOUNDLAND failed to land a meaningful blow on the final start of his curtailed 3-y-o campaign for Aidan O'Brien, but that was in a hot Royal Ascot handicap and he remains with potential. Assuming all is well following a 10-month absence, he can make a winning start for Aidan's son Joseph. Mellow Magic also makes her debut for a new yard on the back of a similar absence, but she is feared most all the same. Harry's Legacy and Phoenix Cowboy are others to consider.
