Go North One Man Series Final Handicap Chase (GBB Race)

Successful over fences either side of a heavy defeat over hurdles but could hardly have been more fortunate for latter win (favourite fell when clear and other rival weakened markedly). Left on the same mark, at least.

Promising novice hurdler last season who got right back on track over fences with a change of tactics when making all in 5-runner handicap at Ayr in January. Respectable fourth off revised mark there since but probably needs to improve again if he's to resume winning ways.

Began the season in good heart, scoring at Hexham in November either side of creditable placed efforts. Laboured performances since, though, and jumping can often prove an issue. Is back on that last successful mark, though.

Won a trio of handicaps during second half of 2022 for Dianne Sayer. Off 4 months and likely he needed the run on stable debut over 20f here last month. Better expected this time.

Irish point winner who has bounced back to form reverted to front-running tactics, supplementing his Newcastle victory in January when easily making all at Sedgefield (17f) last month. Even better form when second at Kelso and another bold bid looks assured.

Bumper winner who opened account over hurdles on final outing of the season last spring. Form has been rather in-and-out this term, though he did shape as though still in good form at Kelso 3 weeks ago.

Hasn't looked back since undergoing breathing surgery and bagged his third win this season in 10-runner handicap chase at Ayr in January. Disappointing from revised mark back there last time but likely to bounce back given overall profile. Has had another wind op.

Successful twice in 2022 and easy to back, shaped as though in need of the run on return to action 12 days ago. Likely to step up on that but he's 3 lb out of the weights here.
