5/2, improved on recent efforts to win 6-runner handicap at Newcastle (8f) 10 days ago by ¾-length from Chief's Will. Appeared to have a bit left up his sleeve that day, so a 4 lb rise is by no means excessive.

C&D winner in January. 9/4, creditable ¾-length second of 6 to Plastic Paddy in handicap at Newcastle (8f) 10 days ago, no match for winner. Likely to give another good account but will do well to reverse the placings with that rival here.

Successful twice over 7f here earlier this month. Creditable second of 11 in handicap at Wolverhampton (7.2f, 3/1) 4 days ago. Now upped in class but return to this trip shouldn't be an issue and he clearly goes well here, so a case can certainly be made.

While PLASTIC PADDY's five career wins have been gained at other all-weather tracks (0-4 here), there is no reason to believe that he isn't just as effective here as anywhere else and a 4 lb rise for his latest success at Newcastle probably underestimates him. Local Bay is 2-2 at this course and he is feared, despite stepping up in class, while Tropez Power and Soames Forsyte are others to consider in a pretty competitive handicap.
