90,000 gns yearling who hinted at ability without getting competitive when tenth in 18-runner Goodwood maiden (6f) on debut back in July. Gelded subsequently and no surprise where he capable of better. One to monitor closely in betting.

Proved too free when last of 7 on debut in a Doncaster novice (7f) last summer. Switched yards/gelded, very much caught the eye when third on return at Chelmsford (5f) 2 weeks ago, left with too much to do. Open to improvement, particularly back over further.

Collected colt. Half-brother to minor US winner by Brody's Cause. Tongue strap on, fourth of 12 in maiden (18/1) at Kempton (6f) on debut 39 days ago, missing break but keeping on without being unduly punished. Open to improvement and considered with that under his belt.

Harry Angel filly. Showed ability without being given a hard time when fourth in 10-runner Wolverhampton novice (5.1f) on debut back in November, running green but making late headway. Another likely improver with that experience behind her.

11/4
Lightly-raced filly. 5/2, creditable second of 6 in handicap at Chelmsford City (5f) 42 days ago, not ideally placed on the back of a sluggish start but keeping on to be narest at the finish. Sound claims with plenty of experience to call upon from handy draw.

Forecasts

Nogo's Dream (5/2), Soaring Eagle (11/4), Crimson Angel (7/2), Al Muzn (7/2), Restrict (15/2), Cuban Grey (12/1), Quinault (33/1), Doves Of Peace (125/1), Elusive Tiger (150/1)

Verdict

SOARING EAGLE is easily one of the most experienced and, on the back of finishing second in handicap company over this trip at Chelmsford recently, she could well be the way to go. Restrict and Crimson Angel both showed promise on their respective debuts and ought to come forward, whilst Nogo's Dream is also worth a second look back from a break having been gelded.
