Signs of ability in maiden/novice company but has yet to complete in handicaps, pulling up at Huntingdon when last seen on Boxing Day. Not the easiest to assess at present.
Good second in maiden at Newton Abbot in August but has disappointed in a couple of Market Rasen handicaps since. Bounce back needed.
Hinted at ability in bumpers. Yet to better modest form over hurdles (remote second in Fakenham maiden latest) but it's possible he'll make more of an impact in handicaps.
Southwell maiden hurdle winner for Dan Skelton last season but has been well held in handicap company on his 2 outings for new yard this winter. Has a bit to prove for now.
Promise when second at Warwick on hurdling debut in May but hasn't come close to matching that form this winter, including in handicap company the last twice. Others are more obvious.
Poor in bumpers but has hinted at promise in 3 novice hurdles this winter and handicaps provide him with a more realistic chance of success.
Maiden who ran with credit when third of 15 over 3m at Wetherby last month. Effective over shorter trips and thereabouts if in similar form.
Second in an Irish bumper last spring. Has hinted at promise in 3 qualifying runs over hurdles for this yard and appeals as a likely improver in handicaps. Interesting runner.
First sign of some encouragement when seventh of 17 in a 2m course handicap 26 days ago, finishing with running left after meeting some trouble.
Well beaten in 3 qualifying runs in the autumn but offered enough to suggest she has ability and she's a potential improver now handicapping after a break, particularly if the betting vibes are strong.
Maiden who was placed in a couple of handicap hurdles last summer but didn't shape with much encouragement on his recent return from a break.
Maiden who reached the frame regularly for Jennie Candlish last season and made a respectable return to action for his new stable at Leicester last month. Entitled to come on for the outing.
Veteran who gained sole British win at Hexham in 2020. Ended last season with a couple of respectable efforts but well held on Leicester return 3 weeks ago and can only be watched after that.

Forecasts
Can't Beat History (5/2), Blended Stealth (3/1), Kings Justice (15/2), Doors Breaker (11/1), Hermes Le Gris (11/1), Bluebella (12/1), Boleyn Boy (12/1), Pumpkin's Pride (16/1), Greatest Star (16/1), Chadlington Lad (18/1), Rocket Robbo (28/1), Click And Collect (28/1), Kilcaragh Boy (50/1)
In a race where few arrive with compelling claims the suggestion is CAN'T BEAT HISTORY who was runner-up in an Irish bumper at the start of his career and could prove a different proposition over hurdles now handicapping. Blended Stealth was placed in a big field at Wetherby recently and rates an obvious threat, while Tom Lacey's Bluebella is another who may fare better now switching her attentions to handicaps.
