6-time course winner who capitalised on much-reduced mark to add to his tally over C&D back in May, leading over 1f out and keeping on well. 6 lb higher now but no forlorn hope if 9 month absence doesn't catch him out.
3-time C&D winner. Ended last year with back-to-back victories here and remained in top form since, running on for third in a higher grade over C&D 2 weeks ago. Can make presence felt again.
Untrustworthy individual. Twenty six runs since last win in 2020. 9/1, sixth of 8 in handicap at this course (5f, AW) 7 days ago, racing wide/off the pace and making no impression. Mark has eased a little more.
All 6 career victories gained in single-figure fields, the latest at Epsom (6f) in July. Operating below best towards back end of the last campaign but he's no forlorn hope back from a break.
3-time C&D winner. Three wins from 12 runs last year. 11/1, possibly needed the run when fifth of 6 in handicap at Chelmsford (5f) 16 days ago and better expected with highly promising apprentice taking off valuable 5 lb.
Winner at Doncaster in August. Shaped as if he'd come on for the run when seventh of 13 in handicap at Southwell (6.1f, 20/1) 13 days ago. Cheekpieces go back on and he's still low-mileage on AW.
Four wins from 14 runs last year. Latest win at Kempton in December. 10/1, bit below form fifth of 9 in handicap at Kempton (6f) 17 days ago. A good pace to aim at here will help.

Tyger Bay (7/4), The Green Man (9/2), Toussarok (5/1), Impeach (13/2), Stone Of Destiny (17/2), Count Otto (17/2), Rattling (11/1)
TYGER BAY has been in rude health this winter, adding a pair of C&D victories to his tally in December. His consistency has been hard to knock since, and he gets the narrow vote to come out on top again, with Impeach and the returning Count Otto a couple of others to consider.

- Impeach13/2
