16/1

Below form sixth of 15 in novice hurdle at Cork (24.2f, good to soft, 10/3) in May, every chance 3 out and one paced. However, he had showed fair form previously in maiden company and no surprise to see him do better now handicapping on return.

Form: 96423-6

40/1

Fair hurdles winner (at 20f) but exploits over hurdles/fences earlier this year have been uninspiring. Yard switch needs to have positive effect ahead of this.

Forecasts

Asluckwouldhaveit (2/1), Optional Mix (3/1), Whiskey Lullaby (10/3), Meetingofthewaters (4/1), Karen's Gift (6/1), Friends N Commerce (16/1), Teescomponentsyess (22/1), One For Joe (40/1), Dancing Jeremy (40/1), Bal Kauto (50/1), Hilltop Supreme (80/1)

Competitive fare with the vote in favour of WHISKEY LULLABY. Well served by the emphasis on stamina when doubling her tally over fences at Fairyhouse 24 days ago, a 3 lb higher mark looks within reach returned to timber and another good showing looks likely. Optional Mix may emerge as the chief threat, ahead of Meetingofthewaters and Asluckwouldhaveit.
