11/4

Latest win at Ayr in October. Creditable fourth of 8 in handicap (6/1) at Wolverhampton (6.1f) 12 days ago, doing too much too soon. Blinkers on 1st time. Will probably find one or two too good.

Motagally^b¹³

Age: 6| Weight: 9-9| J: D Swift| T: S Dixon| OR: 85| D

8/1

Twelve runs since last win in 2020. 100/1, eighth of 9 in minor event at Newcastle (5f) 13 days ago, slowly away. Back up in trip and while his recent form figures are uninspiring, he's dangerous to discount now eased in class.

Forecasts

Total Commitment (11/10), Aberama Gold (11/4), Blind Beggar (5/1), Bellagio Man (5/1), Motagally (8/1), Embour (11/1)

The vote goes to BLIND BEGGAR, who went close on his final start for Ger Lyons at Naas in October and is of strong interest on debut for a respected stable that does notably well with recruits from other yards. Total Commitment has been knocking on the door of late and is greatly respected off the same mark as for his recent near miss at Lingfield. Motagally needs a second look down in class here and Bellagio Man is unlikely to be far away.
