Lightly-raced maiden. Creditable third of 10 in nursery at Lingfield (7f, AW, 4/1) 13 days ago. Makes tapeta debut and it's likely that she'll again find one or two too good.

Once-raced maiden. Fourth of 12 in minor event (3/1) at Kempton (7f) on debut 15 days ago. This well-bred filly is open to improvement and she should have a big part to play.

Foaled April 13. €6,000 foal, €30,000 2-y-o. Closely related to useful 1m winner Emirates Skycargo and half-sister to 3 winners, including 1m winner Media Book and 9f winner Claudia. Market should point the way.

Promising individual. Third of 12 in minor event at Lingfield (8f, AW, 22/1) on debut 13 days ago, conceding first run. Probably capable of better and a bold show is on the cards.

Foaled April 16. Cracksman filly. Dam, 1m winner, half-sister to high-class 7f winner Teofilo. Represents top connections (also represented by Reflective Star) and it will look significant if the market speaks in her favour.

Once-raced maiden. 11/4, last of 11 in minor event at Lingfield (8f, AW) on debut 13 days ago. Likely capable of a good deal better but jockey bookings suggest that newcomer Queen of Fairies is the stable No 1.

Forecasts

Brightly (6/4), Queen Of Fairies (85/40), Princess Niyla (5/1), The Ivy (6/1), Betterment (18/1), Latest Edition (28/1), Reflective Star (66/1)

Verdict

PRINCESS NIYLA shaped with plenty of promise when putting in good late work to finish third on debut at Lingfield recently and, likely to be sharper this time, she earns the vote. Next on the list is Brightly, who also made an encouraging start to her career at Kempton and improvement should be forthcoming. The trio of newcomers all need a second look in the betting, particularly Queen of Fairies, who looks the part on paper.
