Visit Kelso Christmas Events 'National Hunt' Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race)

Well held in a maiden hurdle at Downpatrick in July 2021 but a different proposition when landing a bumper a month later. Since left Colin Bowe for £22,000 and tongue tie on for new connections.

Well held in a brace of bumpers/novice hurdle.

€75,000 3-y-o, Sholokhov gelding. Brother to poor hurdler/chaser Red Maple. Well backed and looked a nice prospect when making winning debut in a bumper at Ayr in October, held up in a slowly-run race. Of obvious interest switched to hurdling.

Placed on the second of 2 outings in Irish points. Quite keen on hurdles debut at Hexham but he displayed ability to finish third of 10 last month.

Getaway gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to useful 3m/25f hurdle winner My Immortal. Showed more than first time up when runner-up in a course bumper last month.

£55,000 4-y-o, Well Chosen gelding. Placed only start in points and did well under the circumstances to make winning Rules/bumper debut at Perth (16.2f) in September, shuffled back home turn but rallying well. Upped in class and not seen to best effect at Cheltenham. Nice hurdles prospect.

Placed on first of 2 starts in point bumpers. Placed both starts over hurdles but it's not form to be getting too carried away with.

Maiden Irish pointer who offered little when seventh of 12 in novice hurdle at Uttoxeter on Rules debut 14 days ago.

€9,000 3-y-o, £45,000 4-y-o, Presenting gelding. Brother to a point winner. Runner-up sole start in Irish points but failed to meet expectations in a Catterick bumper in March. Hooded and showed a bit more sent hurdling at Hereford last month.

Little to get excited about in 3 starts.
