Verdict

A belated first taste of success could be on the cards for DASHING RAT, who didn't enjoy the best of runs when fifth in first-time blinkers over this C&D last time and continues to edge down the weights. Seas of Elzaam is an obvious danger on the back of his Wolverhampton success in July, while Paddy K is also considered. Cases can also be made for Alvediston and Thrave.
