Fairly useful hurdler/chaser scored twice over fences at Cartmel in the summer but has ran poorly on his last 2 outings since being switched back to hurdling. Can't be fancied on recent showings.
Latest win in hurdle at Cartmel in July. Just respectable showings at best since and others appeal as likelier winners here, despite drop back to last winning mark.
Eleven runs since last win in 2020 and shaped as if retaining ability after summer break when fifth of 12 in handicap hurdle at Wetherby (19.7f, good, 18/1) 16 days ago. Went close from higher marks last term and isn't ruled out.
Completed hat-trick of novice hurdle successes at Wetherby last month. Very much had run of race there and no chances have been taken with his mark (12 lb higher than for last handicap appearance), but clearly arrives here in good order.
Back on track behind an unexposed rival (has won again since) when second of 12 in handicap hurdle at Ludlow (21.2f, good to soft) 25 days ago. Overall profile is mixed but merits conisderation after good effort last time.
Runner-up at Sedgefield last month and ran another good race after a spin on the Flat when third at Newcastle (20.3f, good) 18 days ago. Solid place claims again from same mark.
Placed at Perth and Cartmel in the summer but arrives on the back of 2 below-par efforts in Ireland. Any market support would be notable from unchanged British mark.
Won pair of handicaps at Sedgefield on his final 2 outings last term and returned with another creditable second there last month. Found life harder from this mark last time, though, and handicapper may have hold of him at present.
Made winning start for this yard in a Market Rasen maiden in July. Respectable third of 10 in handicap hurdle (6/1) at Market Rasen (20.6f, good to soft) 18 days ago. Merits consideration.
Fair stayer on the Flat ran creditably on his handicap hurdle debut when runner-up at Hexham (16.2f, heavy, 8/1) 12 days ago. Perhaps capable of better back up in trip, with any rain likely to enhance his chances.
Won at Newcastle in February and reached the frame 3 times during the summer, only going down narrowly when a fast-finishing second at Cartmel last time. Highly respected after 155 days off.

Forecasts
We'll Go Again (7/2), Not What It Seems (5/1), Lock's Corner (6/1), Thereisnodoubt (6/1), Hungry Tiger (7/1), Hajey (17/2), Spantik (11/1), Curious Times (12/1), Snookered (14/1), Bollin Neil (16/1), Bellaney Gem (28/1), Dr Sanderson (28/1)
Cases can be made for several here, but LOCK'S CORNER gets the verdict having pulled well clear with an improving rival at Ludlow last time. Thereisnodoubt is interesting from a reduced mark, whilst Bollin Neil is still lightly-raced in this sphere and may appreciate the longer trip. We'll Go Again and Hungry Tiger are also considered in an open event.
