Verdict

HILDENLEY has progressed returned to this surface the last twice, latterly landing a similar C&D handicap in decisive fashion. It's unlikely that a 3 lb rise will be enough to prevent him from going in again and he get the nod ahead of Berry Edge, who will be a big threat if able to reproduce the level of form he has shown on turf in recent months. Wolf of Oxshott and longstanding-maiden Baltic Baron can do battle for minor honours.
