Firmly back on track of late, gaining a second C&D victory (third at this course) when edging out Star Shield by a nose 5 weeks ago. 4 lb higher now but claims once more in present groove.
Resumed with 1m win at Musselburgh in April and got right back on track in first-time hood when third of 7 in a C&D handicap in July. Shaped better than bare result when eighth of 14 in handicap at York (7.9f) 43 days ago and fancied to go well again.
Capitalised on reduced mark when successful on return at Beverley (8.5f) and largely consistent in defeat since, 1¾ lengths third of 11 to Diamondonthehill in a C&D handicap 5 weeks ago despite a slow start. Claims, with any easing of the ground fine.
C&D winner who ended lengthy losing run from career-low mark when taking 8-runner handicap at Ayr (1m, good) 16 days ago, suited by well-run race. Only 3 lb higher now but he doesn't appeal as an obvious follow-up candidate.
Boasts just one win from 29 Flat runs but bounced back to form when good fifth of 12 in handicap at Goodwood (1m) 10 days ago, running on. Handicapper has afforded him a chance if he can put it all together.
Course winner. Latest win at Ayr (1m) in July. 9/1, ninth of 13 in handicap at Ayr (7.2f, good) 14 days ago, very slowly away and never involved. Bounce back not ruled out and any easing of the ground will help.
C&D winner. 2 wins from 5 runs this year. Latest win at Sandown (1m) in June. Fifth of 8 in handicap at Newmarket (10f, good to firm, 6/1) 14 days ago, not clear run from 3f out. Unlikely she's reached her limit just yet.
Successful 3 times during a productive 2021 campaign, latterly over C&D in September. Mixed bag this time around, well held at Pontefract (1m) 16 days ago, but mark has eased plenty and bounce back not ruled out re-united with Jo Mason.
4-time C&D winner. Respectable fifth of 15 in handicap at Pontefract (1m) 16 days ago, every chance entering final 1f and not quicken. Versatile as regards ground and possibilities back here for all his losing run is mounting up.
C&D winner. 12/1, tenth of 13 in handicap at Ayr (7.2f, good) 14 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals. Needs to bounce back if he's to feature.
Maiden. Visored for 1st time, good third of 12 in handicap at Newcastle (10.2f, 12/1) 5 days ago, chasing home an in-form pair. Understandably not one for maximum faith but he's clearly lurking on a handy mark.
Course winner. Latest win at Carlisle in August. Respectable fifth of 10 in handicap at this C&D (good, 6/1) 18 days ago. This demands more from 3 lb out of the weights.

Forecasts
Give It Some Teddy (7/2), Diamondonthehill (4/1), Pisanello (6/1), Spirit Catcher (7/1), Belhaven (17/2), Trais Fluors (17/2), Russian Virtue (12/1), Star Shield (14/1), Cassy O (16/1), Copper And Five (18/1), A Boy Named Ivy (18/1), Royal Prospect (50/1)
GIVE IT SOME TEDDY's losing run tempers enthusiasm but Tim Easterby's 4-time C&D winner (twice successful in this contest) is lurking on a handy mark and, having ran his best race of the campaign when runner-up here 3 starts back, he could be worth chancing to put it all together. Pisanello is a threat provided he can keep the slow starts at bay, along with the in-form Diamondonthehill. Copper And Five also makes appeal from a much-reduced mark.
