Verdict

A competitive opener with the narrow vote in favour of LORD P. Fergal O'Brien's charge needs forgiving a lesser effort at Kempton 3 weeks ago but had previously been shaping up okay, not least with a view to dropping back in trip, and he can go well. Kats Bob, who scored twice over C&D earlier this term, has been a model of consistency since and is feared, along with Slainte Mhath and Kilconquhar.
