Well and truly confirmed previous promise when landing 7f handicap here in comfortable fashion in June. Never figured at Goodwood next time but right back on track when third here (7f) 4 weeks ago. Well worth considering back up in trip.

Fairly useful form in filling runners-up spot all 3 starts to date, albeit beaten at 1/8 in a match at Windsor (10f) when last seen 41 days ago. Still, he's in good hands and it remains early days with him ahead of this switch to handicaps. Respected.

Latest win at Goodwood (1m) in June. 40/1, last of 14 in handicap at Sandown (1m, good) 35 days ago. Visor needs to have positive effect now.
|
Landed a 7f novice here on debut 12 months ago. Improved efforts without tasting success since, runner-up at Haydock (1m) prior to finishing respectable fifth of 10 in handicap at Windsor (8.1f) 24 days ago, albeit again not looking straightforward.
|
Gained second career victory at this venue on return over C&D in April. Not in same form next 2 starts but quickly back to best when second of 10 in handicap at Windsor (8.1f, good to firm) 24 days ago, helped by being held up in strongly-run race. Looks competitive on form.
|
Latest win at Nottingham (8.3f) in May. Fifth of 7 in handicap at Sandown (10f, good, 15/2) 52 days ago. Can give a good account once more.

Aclaim gelding who is yet to finish out the frame, landing Kempton novice (7f) at third attempt and finding some improvement to finish runner-up on handicap bow at Newcastle (7f) in June. Absent since but claims if proving as effective on turf.
|
Hooded for 1st time, twelfth of 13 in handicap at Sandown (10f, good, 7/1) always behind. Subsequent break needs to have had positive effect now.

Forecasts
New Pursuit (2/1), Wodeton (7/2), Nuvolari (5/1), Tribal Wisdom (13/2), Noble Mark (10/1), Ar El Bee (10/1), Tickets (14/1), Rawyaan (25/1)
This looks wide-open but WODETON is one who has already fully confirmed his effectiveness around here and, with the step back up in trip expected to suit on the back of a good third over 7f here 4 weeks ago, he could be the way to go. There doesn't appear to be a massive amount of pace on though, and Tribal Wisdom may prove difficult to dislodge if granted his own way on the front end back from a break/now handicapping. Tickets completes the shortlist.
