Enjoyed an excellent summer, winning 4 times, and he's best not judged too harshly on a lesser effort in the 'Leger Legends' race at Doncaster 9 days ago. Likely to give a good account.
On a fair mark and back to form when fourth of 5 over C&D a couple of months ago. Not discounted dropping in grade.
Winner at Thirsk in April. Has failed to make an impact in handicaps since but dropped a further 2 lb since latest effort and blinkers go on now, so worthy of respect.
Temperamental sort who typically carried his head awkwardly when below form at Carlisle last time. Hard to fancy.
Course winner. Creditable third of 7 in handicap (10/3) at Newcastle (10.2f) 14 days ago. Reliable type who should be suited by this drop back in trip, so merits respect.
Lightly raced and hasn't fully fired since scoring at Redcar last June. Dropped another 1 lb since latest run and cheekpieces could help.
Fair maiden who failed to beat a rival at Ripon last time and makes little appeal.
In good form lately and benefited from a drop in grade when narrowly holding on at Hamilton last time. Might have to settle for a place back in more competitive company, though.
Won at Ripon in May and put up one of his better efforts when second at Ripon 17 days ago. He lacks consistency. though, so hard to know if he'll arrive on his game.
Winner at Pontefract in April. Back on the up when runner-up at Thirsk last time, staying on strongly having been left with too much to do. Could go one better if they go a strong pace.
Fairly treated on his best form and, while not on his game the last twice, a return to this distance should help.
Has done well this season, scoring 3 times, including at Musselburgh in August. Below form last 2 starts, including here on Thursday.
Winner at Carlisle in May. Cheekpieces on for 1st time, respectable seventh of 12 in handicap at Carlisle (6.9f, good, 12/1) 22 days ago. Not discounted with a visor tried for the first time.
Inconsistent sort who found the trip inadequate at Musselburgh last time, so could bounce back returned to 1m.

Forecasts
Flylikeaneagle (5/1), Little Ted (11/2), Do I Dream (6/1), Ayr Poet (15/2), Yellow Bear (15/2), Temper Trap (9/1), Chinese Spirit (12/1), Mi Capricho (12/1), Golden Valour (14/1), Hear Me Roar (14/1), Time To Rumble (18/1), Kalahari Prince (20/1), Ninky Nonk (20/1), Zumaaty (25/1)
DO I DREAM finished to good effect having been set a lot to do when second at Thirsk last time and, with a well-run race on the cards, he gets the narrow vote. Mi Capricho is a danger dropping in grade after a short break and Flylikeaneagle should be on the premises again.
