Losing run continues to mount, but there were positives to glean from his efforts at Beverley and York in August, and again when a close fifth at Carlisle last month. Below par last time, but eased another 2 lb and couldn't rule out.
Pontefract winner last summer and didn't do much wrong when runner-up at Southwell on return in April. Looked a hard ride on his latest start at Chelmsford in June (since undergone a wind op), though, and one or two of these make greater appeal.
Ayr maiden winner last season and reappearance effort at Thirsk during the spring wasn't a bad effort. However, it's been all downhill since and the first-time cheekpieces (retained here) failed to work the oracle at Carlisle recently.
Bagged a C&D handicap off 2 lb higher last summer. Shade below when bidding to win this year's renewal of the same handicap in July, but he was a good second at Ripon three starts back and a reproduction of that effort would give him a real chance. Cheekpieces added.
Shaped as though his turn was again near when third in a 15-runner York handicap (6f, good to firm) in July, but he's not the easiest to predict nowadays and his two subsequent efforts were not so good.
Back on the scoresheet at Nottingham (6f, good) in June prior to putting in good late work to finish a close third at Carlisle the following month. However, good run of form came to a grinding halt at the latter course last time.
Registered a second career success having slipped in the weights at Ayr (6f, good to soft) in July. Lost little caste in defeat when third under a penalty at Nottingham next time and, effectively 1 lb lower here, she's not without hope.
Went close over 6f here at the beginning of July and opened his account in a six-runner contest at Hamilton (6f, good to firm) 13 days later. Changed hands since and will need to find a bit more improvement in order to defy this 4 lb higher mark.
Solid placed efforts at Brighton and Lingfield on final two starts for George Baker in June, but he was out with the washing back from a short break on debut for new yard at Southwell 10 days ago.
Modest strike rate and remains 6 lb above the mark off which he was successful at Ayr in May. Still, this 5-y-o has been knocking on the door again of late and he's a live each-way candidate.
Has dipped to an attractive mark, but he hasn't shown much spark in three starts so far this season and is probably best watched starting out for new yard following a four-month break.
Several good efforts in defeat on the AW subsequent to her latest success on polytrack at Lingfield (6f) in November, and now 5 lb below that winning mark. Not at her best returned to turf the last twice, though, and she now has a bit to prove.

Forecasts
Little Muddy (5/2), Thornaby Pearl (11/2), Indian Sounds (13/2), Ehrmann (7/1), Somewhere Secret (8/1), Crypto Quest (8/1), Impressor (9/1), Bossipop (14/1), Camachess (20/1), Teruntum Star (22/1), Red Warning (50/1), May Remain (80/1), Lucky Beggar (100/1)
The vote goes to INDIAN SOUNDS, who hasn't got his head in front for a while but has slipped to a handy mark and this is less competitive than the handicaps he usually contests. Thornaby Pearl is also lurking on an attractive mark and he is next on the shortlist. Impressor has been knocking on the door of late and should be on the premises once more, while Little Muddy also enters calculations.
