Sirona⁹

Age: 2| Weight: 9-1| J: R Kingscote| T: C & M Johnston| D

11/8

Looked a useful prospect when drawing well clear late in the day on her Beverley debut 9 days ago. Likely to make a bold if showing up here in anything like the same form.

Form: 1

(10)

Fariba²⁹

Age: 2| Weight: 8-13| J: N Callan| T: K P De Foy

6/1

Built on a promising opening run at Newcastle when justifying favouritism in a 1m Kempton maiden last month. Should be more to come now switching to the grass.

Form: 41

(9)

Ipanema Princess²³

Age: 2| Weight: 8-13| J: Jim Crowley| T: Miss A Murphy| OR: 93| D

6/1

Epsom maiden winner in July and quite useful form in Group 3 events in France on her last 2 outings. Ought to be in the shake-up.

Form: 021735

(4)

Bonnsie²⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 8-11| J: Josephine Gordon| T: J G Portman| OR: 70| D

40/1

Fair form. AW maiden winner in July but last of 5 in a Newmarket nursery since and looks up against it here.

Form: 02315

(8)

Land Of Summer³⁹

Age: 2| Weight: 8-11| J: P J Dobbs| T: R Hannon| OR: 83

12/1

Cheap purchase who made a winning start at Brighton and has run with credit on 3 of her 4 subsequent outings. Doesn't seem to be progressing, though.

Form: 12004

(2)

Munch²⁹

Age: 2| Weight: 8-11| J: K Shoemark| T: D Menuisier| OR: 78| D

11/2

Left debut well behind when winning 10-novice event at Kempton (7f) in June. Improved again when narrowly denied there last month. Likely capable of better still for a trainer who tends to bring them along steadily.

Form: 912

(1)

Enola Grey²⁹

Age: 2| Weight: 8-8| J: Rob Hornby| T: J G Portman| OR: 74| BF

13/2

Fair form when third on all 4 starts, including a C&D maiden at the Glorious meeting. Has a bit to find on these terms.

Form: 3333

Forecasts

Sirona (11/8), Candle Of Hope (7/2), Munch (11/2), Fariba (6/1), Ipanema Princess (6/1), Enola Grey (13/2), Land Of Summer (12/1), Eternal Fame (16/1), Bonnsie (40/1), Top Of The Class (66/1)

This valuable conditions race can go the way of SIRONA who was a wide-margin winner on her recent Beverley debut. Useful pair Ipanema Princess and Candle of Hope, who both picked up some black type last month, can give her most to think about.
