Form: 313555

(3)

Typical Man^h⁵⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 9-8| J: W Buick| T: Ian Williams| OR: 67

15/2

Fair winner in 2021. Only twice raced this season and he still looked in need of the run when fifth of 8 in 7f handicap at Haydock 49 days ago. Should be spot on now and he's a player eased a further 2 lb.

Form: 5259-05

(4)

La Feile¹⁷

(6)

Canagat³²

Age: 5| Weight: 9-0| J: N Callan| T: J R Boyle| OR: 59

His losing run now stretches over 2 years but he wasn't disgraced when fourth of 7 to Intercessor in handicap over C&D 32 days ago. Possibilities.

Form: 584434

(8)

Sausalito^h1²⁶⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 9-0| J: T P Queally| T: G & J Moore| OR: 66

40/1

Hinted at promise in 7f/1m novices for Clive Cox. Goes handicapping now for his new yard after 8 months but no forlorn hope, especially if market vibes are positive.

Form: 777-

Forecasts

Intercessor (3/1), Canagat (9/2), Roman Dynasty (5/1), Typical Man (15/2), Milltown Star (10/1), Sly Madam (11/1), La Feile (12/1), Zulu Girl (12/1), Stevenson (18/1), Bristol Hill (20/1), Dourado (22/1), Sausalito (40/1)

A case can be made for a few of these but TYPICAL MAN shaped as though the run was still needed when fifth at Haydock and can now capitalise on a handy mark with Will Buick back in the saddle. Sly Madam is enjoying a fine season and rates the chief threat in her bid for a fourth success, although dual C&D scorer Intercessor should have a say too in an open handicap.
