Neptunian²⁶

Age: 3| Weight: 9-10| J: Andrea Atzeni| T: M Meade| OR: 86

7/2

Lightly-raced 3-y-o who arrives on the back of a 6f Windsor win under Andrea Atzeni. Looks speedy enough to cope with the drop to 5f. Leading claims.

Form: 51-361

(2)

Chipstead¹⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 9-10| J: R Kingscote| T: R A Teal| OR: 84| D

7/4

It's taken time for him to get going this season but he was back on song when second of 15 in handicap (7/1) at Windsor (6f, good to firm) 19 days ago, running on. Player if in the same form.

Form: 1-86762

(8)

Impeach^b,t¹⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 9-9| J: Cieren Fallon| T: C Allen| OR: 83

10/1

Three AW wins earlier in the year and has also gone close on turf the last twice (C&D first occasion). No reason why he won't continue to run well.

Form: 714722

(10)

Just Glamorous²⁵

Age: 9| Weight: 9-8| J: Gina Mangan⁽⁵⁾| T: C Mason| OR: 82| CD

28/1

C&D winner who also went close here in June. Below par twice since, albeit it was a very competitive Glorious Goodwood race last time.

Form: 9-85270

(4)

Josies Kid⁶⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 9-8| J: K T O'Neill| T: Alice Haynes| OR: 84| D

14/1

Excellent Goodwood third in April. No impact in ultra-competitive races at York and Royal Ascot since but it's possible he could get back on track in these calmer waters.

Form: 42-6300

(1)

Isle Of Lismore¹⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 9-5| J: Saffie Osborne⁽³⁾| T: R M H Cowell| OR: 79| D

12/1

Latest win at Windsor in June. Well beaten in a deeper race there since but this is more his level and he's handily drawn against the rail.

Form: 9-95510

(3)

Four Adaay⁹⁰

Age: 4| Weight: 9-3| J: Ross Coakley| T: B R Millman| OR: 77| D

10/1

Didn't need to improve to win 7-runner handicap (15/8) at Nottingham (5f, good) in May, pushed out. Claims if returning from a 3-month break in similar form.

Form: 324-321

(5)

Marnie James¹⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 9-2| J: Jonathan Fisher⁽⁵⁾| T: S Dixon| OR: 76| D

10/1

Twenty four runs since last win in 2018. 33/1, respectable fourth of 12 in handicap at Doncaster (5f, good to firm) 16 days ago. Needs to show he can build on that.

Form: 2-20904

(9)

Yimou¹³

Age: 7| Weight: 8-13| J: R Havlin| T: D K Ivory| OR: 73| D

12/1

Twenty runs since last win in 2020. 12/1, eleventh of 13 in handicap at Haydock (5f, good to firm) 13 days ago. Others more obvious.

Form: 23-7450

Forecasts

Chipstead (7/4), Neptunian (7/2), Four Adaay (10/1), Marnie James (10/1), Impeach (10/1), Isle Of Lismore (12/1), Yimou (12/1), Josies Kid (14/1), Beyond Equal (16/1), Just Glamorous (28/1)

There could easily be more to come from lightly-raced 3-y-o NEPTUNIAN on the back of his Windsor success so he's taken to make light of a 3 lb rise. Chipstead got his career back on track with a good second in a competitive race at Windsor last time and is feared most ahead of Impeach.
