Blazer Two²⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 9-13| J: George Rooke| T: M Scudamore| OR: 56| D

3/1

5/1, career best when winning 7-runner handicap at Leicester (11.8f, good) 28 days ago, kept up to work. Unexposed on turf and this 4 lb higher mark is unlikely to preculde another bold show.

Form: 2-22771

Tribuna Uffizi⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 9-13| J: Darragh Keenan| T: George Scott| OR: 56| BF| D

10/3

Latest win at Bath in June. Respectable second of 5 in handicap at Yarmouth (10.1f, good, 7/4) 7 days ago, unsuited by drop in trip. Back up in distance here and likely to be involved in the finish.

Form: 512192

(3)

Hammy End^p,h²²

Age: 6| Weight: 9-12| J: Mr Oliver Timms⁽⁷⁾| T: W Muir & C Grassick| OR: 55| D

16/1

Unreliable type. Latest win at Southwell in February. Bit below form fifth of 9 in handicap at Southwell (12.1f, 7/1) 22 days ago. Cheekpieces back on. Poor strike rate and likely to find a few too good once more.

Form: 35-4195

(9)

Typewritten^p¹³

Age: 4| Weight: 9-12| J: R Kingscote| T: T Ward| OR: 55| D

10/3

6/1, career best when winning 12-runner handicap at Southwell (12.1f) 13 days ago, kept up to work. This 5 lb higher mark demands another personal best, but she's one to consider all the same.

Form: 375321

(2)

Miss Sligo^t¹²

Age: 5| Weight: 9-11| J: Nicola Currie| T: J A Osborne| OR: 54| D

10/1

Four wins from 10 runs this year, the latest at Lingfield in April. 6/1, bit below form fourth of 11 in handicap at Lingfield (10f, AW) 12 days ago. Tongue strap back on and claims if she puts her best foot forward.

Form: 111644

(4)

Cordey Dancer¹⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 9-10| J: Liam Keniry| T: F O'Brien| OR: 53

20/1

Eighth of 9 in handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (15.8f, good to soft, 11/1) 18 days ago. Latest effort in this sphere was creditable, but she looks modest on balance.

Form: 7200/08-

(7)

Mayson Mount⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 9-7| J: Finley Marsh| T: A Wintle| OR: 50| BF

16/1

Winner at Chepstow in July. 7/2, seventh of 11 in minor event at Catterick (7f, good to soft) 9 days ago. Significantly up in trip and needs to raise his game a notch.

Form: 909817

(6)

Hellavaheart¹³

Age: 3| Weight: 8-12| J: David Probert| T: P D Evans| OR: 51| D

9/2

Winner at Chepstow in June. Creditable 4½ lengths sixth of 12 to Typewritten in handicap at Southwell (12.1f, 10/1) 13 days ago. It's doubtful whether a 5 lb pull will enable him to reverse placings with the winner here.

Forecasts

Blazer Two (3/1), Typewritten (10/3), Tribuna Uffizi (10/3), Hellavaheart (9/2), Miss Sligo (10/1), Hammy End (16/1), Mayson Mount (16/1), Cordey Dancer (20/1), Dance Of Dragons (20/1)

BLAZER TWO settled better than has often been the case when striking at the second attempt on turf at Leicester last month and a 4 lb rise may not me enough to prevent him from following up. The return to this trip will suit Tribuna Uffizi, who found things happening too quickly over 1¼m at Yarmouth last week and he is second choice ahead of recent Southwell winner Typewritten.
