Thrice-raced maiden. Fourth of 10 in novice at Thirsk (1m, good to firm, 10/1) 40 days ago, slowly away. Makes handicap debut. Open to improvement. A market move could prove significant.
11/2, below form fifth of 11 in handicap at Newbury (12f, good) 60 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals. Significantly back down in trip. Others more persuasive.
Fair form at 2. 50/1, last of 13 in handicap at Sandown on reappearance 59 days ago. Makes polytrack debut. Others more obvious but the fact his yard has won the last 2 runnings of this race provides hope.
AW novice winner in April. Limited impact in a pair of turf handicaps since so hopes pinned on a return to AW sparking a revival.
Lightly-raced maiden. Showed ability on first 3 starts and something can't have been right when tailed-off last of 5 on Newbury handicap debut 18 days ago. Back down in trip now with cheekpieces added.
Successful over C&D and at Chelmsford last month. Had winning run ended when only fifth at Wolverhampton 10 days ago but no surprise were he to resume his progression now.
Fair maiden in France for Francois Rohaut. Betting perhaps the best guide to expectations now setting out for a new stable.
Winner at Brighton in June. Not in quite the same form when third of 4 in handicap at Newbury (1m, good, 7/1) 24 days ago. Twice runner-up at this venue earlier in the year.
15/8, shaped better than the result (met trouble) when 2¾ lengths third of 6 to Cabinet Maker in handicap at Chelmsford (1m) 15 days ago. Unexposed at the trip and likely capable of winning off this mark.
Career best when winning 11-runner handicap (9/2) at Lingfield (1m, AW) 53 days ago. Likely still on a workable mark after a 4 lb rise but a wide stall could make life awkward.
Blinkered first time, respectable third of 10 in handicap (3/1) at Lingfield (1m) 16 days ago. First-time cheekpieces replaced blinkers.
Not at best on turf of late but has 2 wins and close second to show for his previous outings over C&D. Could easily revive back on AW but the draw hasn't been kind to him.
Fair maiden. Some promise when fourth on C&D handicap debut last month but not in the same form when only seventh at Lingfield since.

Take A Stand (3/1), Enzos Angel (4/1), Sicilian Vito (5/1), Non Stop (7/1), They Don't Know (8/1), Cabinet Maker (9/1), Bulleit (11/1), Pangloss (12/1), Kingwell (14/1), Mambo Beat (22/1), The Spotlight Kid (22/1), Marsh Benham (28/1), Kodiac Blue (33/1), Zimmer (66/1)
TAKE A STAND was an eyecatching third (met trouble) to the reopposing Cabinet Maker at Chelmsford last month and should have a race in him off this mark on that evidence. Cabinet Maker didn't enjoy the run of the race himself when his winning run was ended at Wolverhampton 10 days ago and he's likely still feasibly handicapped. Enzos Angel has the profile of a likely improver in handicaps and also makes the shortlist.
