Step back in the right direction when fourth at Southwell last month and remains potentially well treated on the form of his juvenile season. Not dismissed if able to build on that effort.
Far from straightforward but has won 4 of his last 5 starts, most recently when scoring on stable debut at Cartmel early last month. This is deeper but hard to discount a horse in such a rich vein of form.
Didn't need to improve when winning mediore novice at Uttoxeter in June and seemed to struggle from opening mark at Perth last time. Possibly not straightforward and this is a difficult ask.
Largely out of sorts in 2021/22 and disappointing both starts over fences this term (let down by jumping), but warrants respect off potentially lenient mark here on the back of a significant stable switch (formerly with Paul Webber).
Solid placed efforts in Worcester maiden hurdles on his last 2 outings but heads into handicaps from a seemingly stiff opening mark.
Won twice over hurdles in France in 2019 but hasn't seriously threatened in handicaps over hurdles and fences for this yard. Hard to fancy back over the smaller obstacles.
Fairly useful on Flat and placed both starts over hurdles in May/June. Disappointing on the level a fortnight ago and headgear still off in this sphere but he could be well handicapped.
Unpromising in Irish points but showed some ability in a trio of novice hurdles so far. Seemingly has a bit of size about him so no surprise if he does better down the line, though maybe not the most obvious sort to make a winning handicap start.
Sole hurdle win came back in 2017 and though he ran his best race for a while at Uttoxeter last month, he still makes little appeal for win purposes.
Useful at best on flat and showed more over hurdles when fourth in 12-runner handicap at Southwell 32 days ago, well suited by a strong pace. Interesting if able to build on that.
Remained in good heart since winning at Warwick in May, most recently third of 7 at Newton Abbot earlier this month
Career best when winning 9-runner handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (15.8f, good to soft) 7 days ago, forging clear. Player again under a penalty.

Forecasts
Pawpaw (11/4), George Mallory (7/2), Cawthorne (5/1), Balearic (6/1), Copper Fox (8/1), Long Call (17/2), Windy Cove (10/1), Tinnahalla (12/1), Arij (14/1), Golden Town (16/1), Lough Carra (18/1), Hey Bob (18/1), Montaqem (33/1), Faro (40/1)
CAWTHORNE is better known as a chaser but is able to race from a lower mark over hurdles and is very interesting bidding to land the hat-trick. Youngster Balearic is potentially well treated now handicapping, with in-form sorts Hey Bob, Windy Cove and George Mallory also in the mix.
