Made a winning start in handicaps at Killarney last year but failed to really kick on, running as well as could be expected when sixth in Leopardstown 2000 Guineas Trial on return. Failed to land any sort of blow in Group 3 at Royal Ascot 3 weeks ago and others looks stronger here.

C&D winner on his second start at 2 yrs. 20/1, improved when second of 18 on handicap debut at the Curragh (8f, good) 12 days ago, better placed than most. 3 lb higher for that near miss but he's fancied to have a major say in proceedings.

Opened his account in a Tipperary maiden in May. 17/2, improved further when second of 15 in handicap at the Curragh (7f, good) 13 days ago, staying on when switched final 1f. Back up to 1m here and expected to be in the mix.

Visored for 1st time, best effort of the season when third of 7 in handicap (8/1) at this C&D (good to firm) 3 weeks ago, suited by increase in trip. This just his second try at 1m, it would be no surprise to see him bang there once again.

Barely had to improve when won 11-runner maiden (2/1) at Listowel (8f, good) 33 days ago, driven out. She's certainly worth a market check for a stable in form on handicap debut.
|
Off the mark on her final start as a 2-y-o at Dundalk. Back on track when fifth of 11 in handicap at the Curragh (7f, good to soft, 9/1) 47 days ago. Remains to be seen whether she's got much more to offer, though.

Forecasts
Ha Ha Ha (11/4), All In The Mind (3/1), Mctigue (7/2), Mudamer (5/1), Torn (8/1), Howth (17/2)
A tricky contest to unravel despite the small field but MCTIGUE gets the nod to come out on top and maintain his unbeaten record over C&D having showed improved form when runner-up on handicap bow at the Curragh recently. This trip is clearly well within range for Mudamer so he can give the selection most to think about, ahead of All In The Mind.
