Headstrong sort who was well served by the good gallop (settled better) when finding plenty to lead late on at Newton Abbot (16.3f) 16 days ago. Revised mark gives him claims provided he keeps the errors at bay once more.
Veteran who is not the force of old but managed back-to-back chase victories last year and arrives here having returned to form when third over 21f here last month. Operating 4 lb below last winning mark if he can back that up now.
Successful on the back of a wind op at Sedgefield (17f) in April and progressed again to follow up back at that venue in May, quickening clear after 2 out. Respectable third behind Going Mobile at Hexham since and he should give another good account.
Landed back-to-back handicap chase events at up to 20.9f last spring. Inconsistency has crept in over the larger obstacles though, albeit seemingly finding 2m inadequate when third of 4 at Perth 8 days ago. Others make more appeal.
Won twice in this sphere at Kelso early last year and went close to ending losing run at Hexham (15.6f) 2 weeks ago, closing all the way to the line. Hit with a 4 lb rise for that but he's worth a look with a repeat.
Long-standing maiden who understandably struggled to get competitive operating from miles out of the weights over 21f here at the start of the month. This more suitable but others make much more appeal in any case.
Better signs from his easing mark of late and he looked well served by the drop in trip when just holding re-opposing Fourth Of July at Hexham (15.6f) 15 days ago. Can go well again in this groove.
Modest hurdler/chaser in Ireland who offered definite promise on fourth start for new yard over hurdles at Market Rasen (16.5f) in May, staying on for fourth. Out of weights ahead of chase return but he's an intriguing contender nevertheless.

Forecasts
Going Mobile (3/1), Fourth Of July (7/2), Brelan D'As (4/1), First Revolution (13/2), Romanor (7/1), Tico Times (17/2), Casamari Abbey (14/1), Living's Boy An Co (22/1)
Competitive fare but CASAMARI ABBEY shaped with definite promise in a race that has the makings of solid form for the grade when fourth over hurdles at Market Rasen in May and he could just be worth chancing to build on that now his attentions return to the larger obstacles. Going Mobile and Fourth of July, who finished 1-2 respectively at Hexham recently, can also get in the shake up.
