Proved a let-down when last of 7 in maiden (8/11) at Brighton (6f, soft) 15 days ago, doing too much too soon. Showed fairly useful form on both starts prior so he's the most compelling candidate of those with experience provided he takes to the all-weather.

Forecasts

Hadley Park (13/8), King Of Ithaca (7/2), Betweenthesticks (5/1), Bellazzo (11/2), Hurtle (13/2), Munch (12/1), Trip To Rome (40/1), Roar Emotion (66/1), Bonnsie (100/1), Langythelegend (150/1)

Verdict

BETWEENTHESTICKS was well supported but proved a let-down when finishing last at Brighton just over a fortnight ago. Mick Channon's charge had previously shown fairly useful form when runner-up on both outings last month so, provided he takes to the all-weather, he can go a place better here. Bellazzo caught the eye at Windsor first time up earlier this month so he's feared most, with Hadley Park an interesting newcomer for the in-form George Boughey yard.
