Debut run at Beverley wasn't devoid of promise and she built on that when justifying support in 9-runner novice at Kempton (6f, 9/4) 32 days ago. Likely to progress again but has stall 9 to negotiate.
Foaled April 9. 16,000 gns foal, £45,000 yearling, Massaat filly. Closely related to 2-y-o 5f winner Fabiosa. Dam 2-y-o 5f winner. Yard's juveniles in excellent order (one of 3 here for the stable).
Bred to stay well and offered something to work on when third of 5 in maiden at Musselburgh (7.2f, good to firm) on debut 14 days ago. Cheekpieces quickly on but drop in trip isn't an obvious move.
50,000 gns yearling, Zoustar filly. Half-sister to 2-y-o 6f/7f winner Qipao. Still looked green when fourth at Chelmsford 3 weeks ago and needs to break with more purpose to exploit inside stall.
Dam, 5f/6f winner, half-sister to useful 5f winner Duchess Dora. Clearly bred to be sharp and displayed clear ability amidst greenness when fourth of 10 starting out at Redcar. Better expected.
Still looks to be learning after 2 starts, finding things happening a bit too quickly back at 5f at York last week. Return to 6f will help.
Limited impact both starts.
Caught the eye in no uncertain terms when fourth on debut at Ripon and may have bumped into a useful one at Chelmsford 17 days ago. Stall 8 isn't ideal but she's still the one to beat.
Foaled February 3. 5,000 gns yearling, Unfortunately filly. Half-sister to 3 winners, including 1m winner Susucaru and 1½m winner Anejo. One of 3 Karl Burke runners.

Forecasts
Speriamo (11/4), Lady Lavina (11/4), Top Of The Class (11/2), Dee See Are (8/1), Gutsy Lady (9/1), Misty Blues (11/1), Disputed (11/1), Sweet Fortune (12/1), Riverside Girl (28/1)
A race complicated slightly by the fact the pair with the best form in LADY LAVINA and Speriamo are berthed in the outside stalls, but that aside, the Johnston runner is definitely up to winning a race against her own sex and the 6 lb she gets from the McBride runner may prove decisive. Gutsy Lady can leave her opening run well behind and feature.
