Latest win at Southwell (7f) in January. Fourth of 7 in handicap (9/1) at Thirsk (7f, good to firm) 24 days ago, headed over 1f out and not quicken. Ease in class a plus back on all weather at least.
6-y-o who doubled career tally from a 1 lb lower mark at Kempton (7f) in October 2020. Nearer last than first confined to just 3 starts since on turf in Meydan, latterly over 1m in February. Does return with yard in good nick and he remains unexposed on AW.
Enjoyed a productive 2021, gaining fifth success of the year at Lingfield (7f) on New Year's Eve. As good as ever of late, second of 11 in a C&D handicap 24 days ago. Should go well again.
C&D winner. Bit below form sixth of 12 in handicap at Lingfield (1m, AW) in April, losing momentum at a crucial stage but keeping on again last ½f. Not discounted from reduced mark given solid record around here.
Course winner. 66/1, 14½ lengths eleventh of 12 to Soft Whisper in listed race at Newmarket (1m) in September, ridden 3f out and labouring soon after. Probably best watched on first outing since.
Dual 6f winner in 2021 who ran right up to best on AW debut when creditable third of 9 in a C&D handicap 10 days ago, staying on without getting on terms. Not discounted in this groove.
C&D winner. Fifteen runs since last win in 2021. Seventh of 10 in handicap at this course (6f, 20/1) 10 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter.

Forecasts
Karibana (11/4), Mehmento (7/2), Sir Oliver (4/1), Natural Path (4/1), Light And Dark (11/2), Revolutionise (12/1), Lalania (100/1)
A competitive handicap and it may just pay to take a chance on low-mileage 6-y-o LIGHT AND DARK. He returns with his yard going along nicely and, having tasted success on his sole previous try on all-weather, this could be the time to catch him. Karibana goes particularly well at this venue and is feared, ahead of Sir Oliver and Natural Path.
