Ended 2-y-o campaign with success from 5 lb lower mark at Kempton (7f) in November. Solid start to present campaign, good second of 6 in handicap at Newmarket (1m, good) 21 days ago. Expected to be firmly in the mix again.

11/1

Thrice-raced maiden. Third of 10 in minor event at Yarmouth (1m) 44 days ago, not knocked about. Cheekpieces on for handicap debut and interesting what the market makes of her.

3/1

Thrice-raced maiden. 5/2, fourth of 9 in maiden at Thirsk (7f, good to firm) 33 days ago, keeping on under hands-and-heels ride. Return to 1m promises to suit now handicapping and she's in excellent hands. Open to improvement.

Latenightmistake¹⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 9-6| J: Pierre-Louis Jamin⁽³⁾| T: K R Burke| OR: 67

10/1

Improved on debut form when landing 5-runner Newcastle maiden (5f) in February. Disappointed next time but more like it when runner-up on turf/handicap debut at Carlisle (6.9f, soft), sticking to task. Step back up in trip worth exploring on that.

9/2

Modest form in trio of novice/maiden events at 6f and never figured in face of stiff task when well held in Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar final start. Up in trip on return for Hugo Palmer and betting should guide.

Forecasts

Convection (2/1), Amanzoe (3/1), Glittering Choice (9/2), Naadyaa (15/2), You're On Mute (8/1), Special Times (10/1), Latenightmistake (10/1), Steel Duchess (11/1), Simply Gorgeous (16/1), Streaky Bay (22/1)

An interesting race of its type with the vote in favour of AMANZOE. She didn't shape at all badly with a view to a switch to handicaps when keeping on for fourth under hands-and-heels riding at Thirsk 33 days ago and this return to 1m promises to suit. You're On Mute similarly appeals as a likely improver and is feared, along with Convection. Naadyaa also caught the eye to a degree latest and completes the shortlist.
