Scored over C&D last summer and returned to form to win 6-runner handicap hurdle at Haydock (24.3f, good to firm) 70 days ago, always holding on. Consistency never been his strong point but can't be dismissed.
Sprung a 40/1 shock at Leicester in February but hasn't been as good on either start since, including over fences last time. More needed to defy this mark.
Dual winner over hurdles in April 2021 (pulled up only start last term) and has generally been solid on the Flat of late, though disappointed on most recent outing. Best watched back hurdling.
Rallied to get off the mark over hurdles at Kelso 28 days ago. Had shown good form from similar marks to this earlier last season and can go well in his follow-up bid.
Recently bought out of Denis Hogan's yard for £8,000 but hadn't been doing much to shout about in Ireland and needs stable switch to revitalise him.
Multiple winner during the winter, the latest at Carlisle in February. Creditable efforts on paper the last twice, but hasn't gone with fluency on either occasion.
Remained in good heart since winning at Newcastle in February, left with too much to do at Hexham last time (second easy winner since). Very much one to be interested in at this level and he's high on the shortlist.
In frame in pair of juvenile hurdles but flopped on handicap debut at Bangor last time. Remains with few miles on the clock in this sphere but improvement is surely needed.

Forecasts
Lock Down Luke (11/4), Hungry Tiger (7/2), Jelski (11/2), Vermilion Cliffs (6/1), Global Agreement (8/1), Rukwa (17/2), Line Of Descent (9/1), Iolani (10/1), Turning Gold (16/1)
HUNGRY TIGER has held his own since winning at Newcastle in February, and with the form of his recent Hexham third working out well, he's taken as the one to beat here. Last-time-out winners Lock Down Luke and Jelski are also capable of going well again, with the former perhaps most solid.
