Though MINE'S A DOUBLE appeared to take a backward step from his reappearance effort when seventh at Ascot, he was probably still in need of the run and this lightly-raced colt makes plenty of appeal based on the promise of his unbeaten 3-y-o campaign. Newyorkstateofmind was behind the selection's stablemate Get It at Bath, but meets that rival on 6 lb better terms here and is second choice ahead of Mountain Brave.
